cobra
Cobra is the common name of a group of venomous snakes of the Elapidae family, especially the genera Naja, with about 20 species, and Ophiophagus, with one species, known for their menacing appearance and bite. They inhabit tropical and desert areas of southern Asia and Africa.
It is easy to recognize because they displayed a "hood" in the area of the head when they are irritated or threatened. Able to do this by flattening the vertebrae of the head.
In general, feed on rodents and birds, which kill by injecting a neurotoxin through their teeth. Its predators include the mongoose and some raptors.
